We went on holidays to Cyprus and Donnacha. We saw these MineCraft houses.

Holiday reading for Papa - Bitter Lemons by Lawrence Durrell - a first-hand account of the years leading up to the Cypriot independence from Britain.

We went on a day trip to the capital Nicosia and Papa got himself a lovely shirt. Rebecca liked the blue colour.

Riu wanted to go to a mall so we took her to the Mall of Nicosia. She wasn’t impressed.

We crossed the border over to the Turkish side and went to this very cool cafe/bookshop.

At the water park, one of the funnest days of the fun holiday.

This swimming spot is a natural lagoon. We saw lots of sea creatures here.

Donnacha got really fit cycling the little ones around.

We went for sushi and there was dry ice on the sushi.

Aoife is not going to Cyprus on her holidays.

Instead she is going to Alins for two weeks.

We are going to Cyprus on our holidays. This is our To Do list.

We went back to the little refugi at Baiau, this time with the entire family.

We arrived just before sunset.

There were a lot of people in the refugi and the next day started very early. Here’s the sunrise on the far mountain and the moon just above it.

We went for an evening hike in the ski station, just as the sun was setting. It’s a lot cooler up high this summer that at home.
