For Papa’s birthday, Granny is coming to visit, so she is.

She’s bringing Ben and Connie, and Auntie Nicola, with her.

On the way to Toulouse to pick them all up, Papa stopped for a quiche and a coffee eclair because it’s his birthday and because its France. Oh la la.

Today is the last chairlift of the 2025-2026 season, with Boí, Saoirse, Papa, and Pau.

Afterwards we waxed everyone’s skis before packing them away until next season.

We took Aoife for a walk down by the river in the early morning and there was a heron waiting for its breakfast on the bank.

We startled her and she eventually flew off.

Just as the ski season ends, it begins to snow again, this time right down in the village, at 800 meters above sea level.
