Holidays in Cyprus
We went on holidays to Cyprus and Donnacha. We saw these MineCraft houses.

There was a shop called Pow!

Most importantly, there was Donnacha’s pool. Also, a sunset.

There was a new beach every day.

This is a shipwreck. It certainly was wrecked.

This is the evening swimming and diving spot in Paphos.

Boí jumping in from a high place.

Watching at the lagoon.

Night scene at the Greek Orthrodox church at the turtle beach.

I like this guy’s beard.

Donnacha’s orange car lives in sunny Cyprus now.

Rebecca has new sunglasses. Doesn’t she look lovely?

Turtle!

Beautiful sunset every day.

Riu, the photographer who doesn’t want to be photographed.

Wrecked! The ship is wrecked.

Sunset from the turtle beach.

A lovely flower on Donnacha’s cactus.

Pensive Saoirse going for a stroll.

Pau looking for a deep-enough spot from which to dive. THe water is so crystal clear that it’s easy to judge the depth.

Holiday reading for Papa - Bitter Lemons by Lawrence Durrell - a first-hand account of the years leading up to the Cypriot independence from Britain.

We went on a day trip to the capital Nicosia and Papa got himself a lovely shirt. Rebecca liked the blue colour.

Riu wanted to go to a mall so we took her to the Mall of Nicosia. She wasn’t impressed.

We crossed the border over to the Turkish side and went to this very cool cafe/bookshop.

Another lovely flower on Donnacha’s cactus.

At the water park, one of the funnest days of the fun holiday.

This swimming spot is a natural lagoon. We saw lots of sea creatures here.

Everyone tried on new sunglasses.

Saoirse tried on Papa’s glasses on the boat.

But she preferred her own ones.

Papa liked hers as well.

Papa swimming at the shipwreck.

They have 99s in Cyprus.

Donnacha got really fit cycling the little ones around.

Boí likes to walk like an Egyptian.

Giant ceramic bottles for wine or olive oil.

Ancient waterbottles at the musuem.

More walking like an Egyptian at the museum.

Donnacha’s cargo bike was a big hit with the kids.

We went for sushi and there was dry ice on the sushi.

A most excellent holiday in Cyprus. Thanks Donnacha!
